I have just ordered the plans for the amati elizibethan galleon and wondered if anybody else has done this scratch build. Brian

Good afternoon Brian, I have made that model from the Amati kit, very nice model to do!
My build log is on this forum (in other ship builds thread), Karl1113 has done a scratch build of the same model using a set of Amati plans.
My suggestion would be to make the model from the full kit, and just buy some extra rigging thread as the supply with the kit is not quite enough. If you do decide on this kit I would like to see a build log from you if possible,
