Morning all,
Well, after almost eighteen months unavoidable delay, I have finally started on my HMS Victory build. I would imagine that even though I have looked at the official videos and I am diligently looking at the instruction books I will be on here asking some questions and seeking guidance, if I may.
I opened pack 1 yesterday and assembled the bow keel section (1) and bulkhead rib (12). I also fixed the former parts (8) and then found two "spacers", part 8b that do not seem to be mentioned anywhere. Do these glue between the keel section and parts 8? That seems the most sensible location but at this stage, I do not want to make any assumptions. I apologise if this has been discussed before but my search has not revealed anything.
Thanks in advance for your advice.

I don't remember this part at all. Can you provide a picture of it?

Wow. That is a seriously quick response to my query.
Eric A, you are correct. Stage 20 is where they are shown. They do slide in where I assumed would be correct but I will probably fit them at an earlier stage as I have them on the work bench now.
z8000783, as mentioned by Eric, if you look at build stage 20, (at around 15min point) they are shown being fitted there.
Thank you both for your help.

Yes I saw. It's been a good few years since I worked on those stages.

Glad you are sorted now.

BTW, John would be fine.
