Is that just for the pre-built kit Roy or are they partworking it again.

Missed out first time around and have hoped over the last few years it might come out again.

I hope they get the colour silver to match all panels, I built one of these and had the detachable roof a different shade to the body. Lucky as some builders had al sorts of shades. Andy.

You can buy it ready-built, but EM have also released it as a part-work again.

BigGrin Just been watching their build videos. They are very good, but i wonder if it does go together as easy as they make out?

I've built 2 of them and yes, it does go together quite easily.
Just watch out that you have all the wiring taped out of the way when you fit the bottom...

Some good advice there Roy.

Looking forward to starting this one as i missed out on it the first time around..

Will have to find myself a suitable display stand for all these cars i am doing. Seen a couple of glass cabinets online at ikea but not sure the shelves would support the weight of these heavy models.

No they aren’t

I have started the DB5 Build (8 Editions) and had an email yesterday saying due to supply errors from China they are stopping the build and I’m getting a refund

This is for the other car build also mentioned on here

Well fed up

Yes its a very sad state of affairs.

"Rumours" were circulating on facebook on Monday that the GTR and DB5 builds had been cancelled.

I phoned them yesterday and they confirmed that to be the case and at some point (they do not know when) i will get a £74 refund.

Not had any emails so far from them so even that seems to be hit and miss.

I certainly will not buy anything else from Eaglemoss after this episode. Had trouble with them many years ago with being charged for parts i never received so seems little has changed with them in that time.

Really disappointed about this because despite the terrible parts quality on the bits i did receive i had convinced myself it would be worth correcting the paint finish so that i could get to build this car.

Same as me. They told me Friday that my parts were being dispatched. Can't trust them.

Steve

It gets even more confused.

I spoke to them and was told its cancelled and a refund would appear at some point.

However on facebook people are mow saying existing subscribers will receive parts but no new subscribers will be taken on. That to me seems odd thatvyou would fix the quantity of a product and not take any new orders.

I may phone them again tomorrow but the whole thing just seems totally confused.
