Hello-
Andrew here, I just purchased the 1:4 scale Rossi Yamaha. Though I have many years of experience building and constructing static models, please feel free to provide me with any information or hints that may improve the building experience. I do have two immediate questions for the group. 1) have any of you used Tamiya black panel liner to enhance the depth and "look" of this kit. It would seem that parts of the engine and radiator might benefit to create a more realistic appeal? 2) have any of you purchased the aftermarket Ohlin Forks? They seem a bit more realistic than the front forks that are included in the original kit. If so, can you provide the link where these Forks can be purchased? Thanks, Andrew.

Hi Andrew. Welcome to the Forum. That Rossi kit looks like fun. Good luck with the build.

Welcome to the group. I'm sure you'll enjoy it here.

Regarding the Ohlins forks, a few people have asked about an after market set but as far as I'm aware, those forks are only available in 1/12 scale.
I don't think anyone makes them in 1/4 scale.

If anyone knows different though, a link would be great.

Roy.
