Well i must admit i did not think i would have to be flagging isues that others have been having in receiving parts. Start of the month i subscribed to HMS SURPRISE 14 month option as its been on my wish list for some time and as a kit does not seem widely available outside of deagostini. They took my £44 but having received nothing i emailed cs and have just had an email back saying Pack 1 is out of stock and will be sent when available. No indication what so ever as to when that might be and as it appears Artesania Latina have stopped making this kit at the moment its not filling me with confidence. So a question that has been asked before is WHY are deagostini selling and taking payment for kits that are out of stock - i am really annoyed about this. I have asked via email for an expected delivey date and if i don't get that then i will be contacting Deagostini direct in Italy about this situation. And at the same time cancelling my subscription and requesting a refund. I would say "sorry for the moan" but i won't as i think its more than justified. Tony Happy Modelling

Roy Just wanted to say a big thanks for trying to help with this query which i do apprecite the forum is not designed for. Artesania latina appear to have suspended production of its premier kits from what i could see last time their site was up and running (and had some issues trying to get a set of instructions for a Santa Anna kit as they had to extract them from archive) There site has been down for a few weeks now so on the basis i have to assume deagostini would be getting the parts from artesania latina that does not bode well with me. Its a real shame as i was just in a position to afford that partwork (pull out on a full kit to much for me) and its not available. Also looking at the usual online retailers shows that no one has this kit listed at the moment. I have just phoned modelspace customer services and cancelled my subscription to this one and requested a refund. Maybe things will sort themselves in the future and this kit will become available again. Anyhow just a thanks again for trying to help me with this one. Tony Happy Modelling

That's a real shame, I was looking forward to your build. You will have to keep a look out on ebay, you never know you might get a cheap one!! ________________________________________________________________________________________ Built Mare Nostrum Google Photo AlbumMatelot (ˈmætləʊ) , Matlo or Matlow noun (Nautical Terms) slang chiefly Brit - a sailor

I had so much wanted this kit having seen some of the fantastic builds people have been doing. In terms of price its was affordable and on top of that it was a kit i have always wanted but had to wait until now. I might have held on but knowing artesania have stopped (for how long who knows) producing their premium kits i could not see how deagostini were going to get stocks and they seemed unable to tell me. Sadly cancelled it monday but still had to chase through my refund on friday which has now been provided. As you say i will have to keep an eye open to see if anything comes up on ebay. That is how i obtained my santa anna kit. Will keep on eye on all of the ongoing builds though. Tony Happy Modelling
