It's a very nice model but quite basic on detail so it has huge scope for upgrading. I've built 2 of them so far. A fun build - very straightforward.

Steve I am. Had my dispatch confirmation so just awaiting the first 2 parts to arrive. Intention is to put a build diary on here (not sure if it will be of much interest but i will fo my best) I have seen a couple of places showing the original build were people have really gone to town but my car knowledge is zero so i am planning a straight build. One point of interest is mention the original realease was 86 parts were as this one is 100 so no idea what the extras are but the cynic in me says its probable less parts per issue so they can string this out longer for maximum profit - could be wrong but will wait and see. I built this just after it was first release, did mine in 2013 and it's still as good today as when it was first done. I like other did do some extra bits here and there, the biggest one for me was my first go at 3D printing. I like many others I didn't like the wheels so I designed and got some printed, and there still as good today as when they where first printed My Favourite Building:- 1919 https://forum.model-spac...=339517&#post339517 -

Looks great Mustang. I too made new wheels. The supplied ones are 'ok' but I wanted something a bit better. roymattblack attached the following image(s):

I subscribed to this too.I will be 3d designing and printing new wheels if they have not been redone.I am thinking of making the rings with holes in them and then use metal for the spokes.
Hopefully there wont be delivery issues. The DeLorean has been a mess so far with months between deliveries.

The payment has been pending in my bank account twice but hasn't gone through yet. I got a amil from them on 26th June stating: "We are hoping to have your first order sent to you very soon. Please be advised as this is a new collection it can take a little longer than the suggested 14 days. This is due to the organisation in the warehouse and we wait to receive a number of subscribers before we send out the first orders. Hopefully, it will not be much longer." Graham I was drowning my sorrows. But my sorrows they'd learned to swim.
