Looks good Ian. From your pictures it looks like the stern may need to be sanded back a bit more - until the brown laser cut on the keel starts to disappear.

Thank you Ian! Stefan is right the stern looks as if you will need to reduce the transom down some more to match the false keel. Take care not to reduce the keel! as soon as the transom matches the angle of the keel and there isn't a slot anymore in the centre stop. Darron

hi guys. Have reworked transom as per Darrons excellent guide. it saved me a few hours sanding down later when doing transome planking, thanks very much Darron. Current builds.Hachettes build the bismark,HMS Victory, HMS Hood. Finished Builds Corel HMS Victory cross section.

Hi Ian It may just be the angle of the pictures but it looks to me like a shade more need to comes off especially where the transom meets the planks. The false keel should be flush with the transom for it's whole length. Here's mine for what it's worth If it is then ignore this. John
