Looks to be coming together very well. Not too far off now before you get to power him up. Tony Happy Modelling

Looking good, you’ll start on the electronics very soon. Just double check all the cables when you fit them and make sure they connect in firmly. Spending a little more time with the wiring now could save time later. Nice to see another R2 join the force soon. Mark

Finally finished the 3rd ring of the body frame. Sensors have been added to detect the rotation of R2D2's dome.

Added the final body panel. More parts still to be added to the body panel though and they will have to be removed for more work on the body frame.

So jealous. Oz subscribers received 52-55 this week. That’s how far behind we are. :-( Keep up the good work. Almost there. BUILDING: Taking a break / Waiting for the next epic build to be released

More framing added to the dome. Think it will have to be removed, to add more electronics at some point in the future.

The dome is complete except for the PCB that gets installed without removing anything. You're looking good and getting close.

Final body panel fitted to the frame with on / off switch and charging jack. Body panels may have to be removed at some point in the future to allow more work inside the frame, but for now it is easier to have them attached.

Nice to visualise him finished. Just be very thorough when attaching the cables and make sure they connect firmly. You’ll have him up and running in no time. Mark
