Hi,
I just started my subscription.
I am having problems with the assembly of the x-wing laser cannon.
The laser cannon shoulder does not complete fit into the laser cannon tube completely. And when push the jacket (smaller tube) it is not firmly in. It is loose and comes off easily.
What should I do?

Have you tried both ends of the tube, although they are the same diameter, it may fit better. I also had an issue with the small tube with a loose fitting due to me pulling it on and off. I fitted a small piece of tape around the shoulder to give a firmer fit. Mark Regards Markwarren (Mark) Admin

Yes I've tried both ends, they seem to be the same. What tape should I use? Should I glue it together?

Are you talking about the part that joins the two aluminum tubes together? I made my own! There are pictures of them on my X-wing build...

If I remember correctly the plastic parts have three ridges on them that gets shaved off to get a snug fit when pushed together. The only problem here is the shaving can prevent a snug fit at the base so rectification/removal ruins the fit of the parts. For now I would use a small piece of masking tape to hold things together and maybe glue permanently after final assembly of the model. Current builds:-C57,Zero, Lamborghini Countach, Caldercraft HMS Agamemnon,Robi,R2-D2, MFH Cobra .

I need up using 5 minute epoxy on mine. It only take one or two disassembles for it to become hopelessly loose.
You’ll want to use a bit of black paint to light shield the fiber optic strand too. The whole cannon glows a rosy red without it.
