Hope you all had a great christmas  Well i got a surprise and so did the missus.. I got a complete ship build bought me by the missus what a surpise and guess what... Its another Deagostini HMS Victory  She actually thought she bought a different ship. So do i build it next to my exisiting victory or sell it..... Building.

Maybe build it in a different style. Ie if you are painting the original then make this one in a natural wood finish. I guess your option is to see if you can get a refund or swap for it but you would have to check customer services to see what policy they have in place. Hopefully they will be understanding and be able to help you. Tony Happy Modelling

Various thoughts n ideas came to mind. Like you say a natural wood look. Paint it royal navy blue n black. Vaneer it... Copper plate the hull...... Building.

Another option is to return it, and get a different build. Explain to CS that it was a well intended, but duplicate of a previous build.
Or, build her up, but scratch build the open galleries she has before the first refit.
