Hi all
this is an F-14A Tomcat in 1/18 scale, its featured in one of my other posts but i will devote this thread to her.

This is how she looked when i first got her.

Then first primer.

Then the first grey coat of paint.

Here the black paint is applied.

Start to the weathering.

Coulouring the tails.

Then the jet pipes weathered.

Now shes starting to look the part.

Finished tail the decals are home made and the chequers are painted on.

Nose section.

And here is her bed for a while.

Cheers chaps Clive
Have a break then carry on its always the trying ones that come out best! keep on modelling its my hobby .

BigGrin Looking good Clive, thanks for posting the update and quite impressed that you are making your own decals, maybe you should post up a tutorial on how you do it for all to see ??

With the imminent arrival of the new DeAg Zero fighter to ModelSpace, I suspect we could well be getting an Aviation dedicated forum added on here very soon, as they will need somewhere specific to put the diaries etc, so at least all of us who like the planes will have our own hangar to park them in - something to look forward to maybe ??

Good stuff Clive, keep 'em coming. ThumpUp

Great job Clive I built this model many moons ago but never got the paint job anywhere as good as yours. If i try the aging effects they always end up rubbish looking. Maybe another masterclass for you to do

Bob
