Wondering if anyone can help been dry fitting the interior of my tiger. Ian having issues with the rear firewall where it's not sitting flush with the engine walls. Has anyone build this and found a problem and how did you fix
building the spitfire,RMS Titanic hachette and now starting the u-96 submarine

I have not built this kit, but I do have it in my stash.Blink

I`m looking at what I think is the correct place in the instructions:

Page 188 - Assembly guide 103 - pictures 18 and 19.


From this point in the instructions I can see that there are four lugs on the firewall that have relevant slots to fit into. Are you sure that these lugs are engaging fully with the slots?

If they are then it may be that the engine walls are not located correctly and that may make it seem like the firewall is "incorrectly" to blame.

If still not obvious what the issue is, could you attach a pic of the firewall when it is dry fitted as it may give more of an indication as to the problem.
