BigGrin Hi Mike,

Don't know if your launch was built from the same kit on the webpage below but it looks to be the same kind of boat, known as a 'PX' Class Patrol Boat, hence the 'PX9' bit, 'Penang' is in Malaysia and it was operated by the 'Royal Malaysia Marine Police Force', hence the 'RMMPF' bit, around the 1960's to 1970's I think ??

Could be a scratchbuilt boat of course but your length and beam measurements are virtually identical to the kit on the webpage ?? At least you now have some direction which to look in ??

Hope that helps ?? ThumpUp BigGrin

BigGrin Hi again Mike,

Just found the homepage for 'Metcalf Mouldings' who made the kit on the webpage in the previous post :

http://business.virgin.n...mouldings/catalogue.htm

Could be useful if you need new parts methinks ?? I take it you are going to do a renovation ?? ThumpUp

Cheers ... Kev. BigGrin
