PACK 6

STAGE 41

The parts included in this pack are for adding the alternator and coil.
These parts can easily be enhanced by removing mould seam lines and adding foil bands to improve the look of the fixing brackets.

A decal was added to the coil as well as the low tension leads. A further power cable was added to the alternator. All three leads are routed through a harness and will be hidden at the other ends later on.

STAGE 42

One front wing (fender) is included in this pack but the front light supplied in pack 1 can now be fitted. This will be made much easier by using a longer screwdriver than the one supplied with the kit, for better access to the screw head.

STAGE 43

This pack contains the ignition and coil leads.
At this point they are only attached at one end. A small dot of cyano adhesive can be used to make the fixing more secure

STAGE 44

This pack contains the distributor and air box.
Assembly and fitting of these parts is very straightforward but the airbox can be enhanced by spraying it with satin black paint.

The plug leads can now be fitted after routing them as shown in the pictures. The fan belt is also added now.

STAGE 45

The air-box breather pipes and the vacuum advance/retard unit are included in this pack. All of these parts are very easy to fit. The various attaching points should be glued with cyano adhesive for added security.

STAGE 46

This pack contains the other front wing (fender) and the light is added in the same way as before, in stage 42.

STAGE 47

This pack contains three large air hoses which can be enhanced with a very light wash of brown paint.

Hose clips can also be added using strips of self-adhesive aluminium foil.
Fitting the hoses in place is very straightforward.

STAGE 48

This pack contains the heater pipes to be fitted in the next section. There are also 4 brackets and other screws which are not needed at this stage. Store these parts away safely until later.

STAGE 49

The rear floor is included in this pack and the heater hoses are fitted here.
Once complete, the underside of the wheel arches can be given a light mist coat of red oxide or matt brown spray. The picture makes this look very heavy and ‘red’. In reality this is not the case.
