LaFerrari
Pack 5

Further Stages followed with delivery 5

THREE EXHAUST MANIFOLDS ON THE RIGHT SIDE
The exhaust manifolds on the left and right were now mounted.

THE COMPONENTS FOR THE RIGHT EXHAUST SYSTEM
Both catalysts were installed with the central silencers and respective exhaust manifolds. Subsequent assembly of the exhaust systems on the left and right of the engine. The hydraulic lines for supplying the differential and manual transmission were laid.

IGNITION SYSTEM WIRING

All ignition transformers of the individual cylinders were fitted. The cylinder heads were fitted with a valve cover. The final step is the assembly of some heat conducting plates.

THE REAR FRAME:

The engine was then mounted on the rear frame.

FRAMES LEFT AND RIGHT:

In contrast to conventional vehicles, a frame construction is required to mount the fenders on the vehicle. Weight plays a major role in sports cars, so this concept of the frame structure is chosen to save weight.

THE REAR SUSPENSIONS LEFT AND RIGHT

The wishbones and stabilizer were installed. Some components for mounting are following later on. Both rear shock absorbers followed

Delivery 6

POWERFUL AND EFFECTIVE THE REAR BRAKES

During this assembly phase, the focus was mainly on the right side, the installation of the axle shaft (which in the original car transfers the drive torque coming from the differential to the wheel) and the disc brake assembly. The latter consists of a disc and the brake caliper (also called a brake caliper) and is already preassembled.

THE VENTILATION SYSTEM IN THE LEFT FENDER

The primary function of the ventilation is to cool the high-performance brake system. The control units for the chassis control were also installed here.

THE VENTILATION SYSTEM IN THE RIGHT FENDER

Analogous to the left side, the cooling would also be mounted on the right side.

REAR SIDE PANELS OF THE LEFT SIDE
Installation of the cooler in the right side panel

THE REAR SIDE PANELS OF THE RIGHT SIDE
Installation of the cooler in the right side panel

THE MAIN PART OF THE COOLING SYSTEM
Now the radiators were installed in the front main frame.

THE FIRST COMPONENTS OF THE STEERING SYSTEM.
Assembly of the first components for the steering. The completion of this delivery was the assembly of the front storage box.

Thank´s Roy!BigGrin

I have already finished the LaFerrari. With the construction report I just want to show what the Ferrari has in terms of technology in the model and what functions are available.

I've built a lot of models, but you have to do one thing, if the Ferrari is offered in the UK, you have to strike immediately. It's worth every penny. just for you to show you what to expect, below a few pictures of what he looks like when he's done.

He'll definitely get a showcase. All functions via the remote control are available. The electric doors are absolutely great, and you can accelerate with the remote control, real Ferrari sound. So don't think twice, when available get it!BigGrin

It does look amazing.

IF it ever hits our shores, I'll give it serious thought.
I was burned by a private seller so maybe next time, it will actually turn up.Cursing

LaFerrari

Pack 7

THE FRONT SUSPENSION
Now it started to get a little bit more trickie.Assembling of the front wheel suspension with upper and lower wishbones. Sometimes it would be better to have some extra “Hands”

THE LEFT FRONT BRAKE
Assemble the front brake discs, and connect the two upper and lower wishbones of the half suspension to the disc brake assembly.

THE FRONT WHEEL BRAKES RIGHT
The right front disc brake is added, which is a mirror image of the brake disc intended for the left side of the car. The brake calipers face the rear axle.

THE INTERIOR LIGHTING
Start of the assembly of the interior and the central interior lighting. Two switches on the doors ensure that the light can be switched on when the doors are opened. The interior light dims itself if the doors are closed.

THE WINDSHIELD
Part windshield assembly. Only the water tank and the hinge bracket of the front flap were installed here.

REFUELING AND POWER SUPPLY
The inside mirror was now mounted on the windshield. Then the windshield was installed. The next step was to mount the socket for the rechargeable battery.

THE RIGHT DOOR
Pre-assembly of the right door and assembly of the handlebar

THE UPPER PART OF THE RIGHT DOOR
The right door was completed with its components. This includes the door window and the mechanism for opening the gullwing doors.

THE INSIDE OF THE RIGHT DOOR
Installation of the door trim

There were a few special editions for the LaFerrari. Other rims and outside mirrors in carbon. A fabric cover was also available. Here I did some research. Unfortunately not available anymore, and then only at utopian prices. Here some have probably discovered a gap in the market.
If you look around on ebay you won't get the Laferrari under 2000 euros. The most expensive currently on ebay is 5900 euros!
In any case, I would like to optimize some things on the Laferrari, so I've already had my 4 rims powder-coated by a friend. The sub-floor panels will follow next. I will treat these with water transfer printing so that they get a carbon look.

Now I had the time to make a small modification to the LaFerrari. The underbody panels were modified with water transfer printing in carbon optic. There are three base plates. it was a bit tricky that the course of the carbon pattern fits.I also wanted the screws and Details that were cast into the plates to remain visible, and it worked well, and I'm happy nowBigGrin . Last step would be to seal all three plates with 2 K clear varnish.

I would like to present the Laferrari with something more pep.
So a trade fair stand is being built / printed. The printer was activated. First a couple of ramps printed. A 16-hour print job is currently in progress for the stands of the fair lighting. Long time for a job, but I'm going to get 2 more Ender 3 Pros. So I can run them in parallel and distribute the tasks.
