How many "real" cannons do we get for the lower deck? or are we getting "dummy" cannons for the areas that are not seen from the inside?

Hi Riff Raff,

You get 42 actual cannons, no dummies. But I only used 36 as that is the correct amount for the HMS Surprise.. 24 on the lower deck and 12 on the Top deck.

I have just started to make the inner gun ports and wondered why it only says to frame between frames 11 & 17.

The reason is you don't see the inner wall past those ribs once the upper deck is on. But I decided to do the full length of the inner wall.
