If you get one off ebay watch out for the Hercules Hobby ones, they are a fake chinese copy of the genuine Tamiya models. The good thing with the genuine models, is that they go together very well, another thing to watch is that screws you need, may be found in multiple screw packs.

Bullbar has been added to the truck. Looks quite large with the trailer on as well.

Now that is big. At least you could use it as storage space to put things in if it comes to that.LOL

Would love to give one of these Tamiya kits ago but waiting for a “bit of luck”.

I just love all the build detail and parts that go into them.

Been watching ‘andys hobby hq” on youtube and ge has been building the tamiya volvo fh26 globetrotter.

Completely different area of modelling in my book but looks an exciting one.

Hope yours continues well.

Tony

One side panel now in place. Think it is time I added the lights inside the container.

Swapped some screws around in the base of the container and then managed to finish the doors off. Now just waiting for some more parts to come from ebay and I can add the lights inside the container, then add the final side panel to the container. Still thinking about the additional lights for the trailer itself.

That is an impressive size of model Anthony and you're making a good job with the build. Looking forward to seeing the finished model with all of it's working lights, etc.

Well done so far.

Started working out how to add some reversing lights to the trailer. since the Tamiya lighting kit didn't actually include them, even though there is space for them. Also need to work out how to do the lighting for the container.

Sounds interesting Anthony and I wish you success with sorting it out. Odd that Tamiya didn't provide working reversing lights!? Cool

Kev.
