Hi all,
I'm new here, too. I'm 2.5 months in to my 12 month term for the Countach. I haven't received a shipment yet but I'm looking forward to it.
To get ahead of the build, what are the materials and tools that I should be seeking? I'd like to be prepared.
I'm looking forward to adding this model to my man cave. Thanks for having me.
Regards,
//Brad

Hi Brad,
First, WELCOME!
The only things you really need are a good part of tweezers, and a quality set of phillips head screwdrivers. The one supplied with the kit doesn't quite make it through.
Nice to have is a good padded surface, but that’s down the road.
Have fun with your build!

Hello Brad. Welcome to the mad-house. The Lambo is a great kit with lots of possibilities to add to it. Hopefully you'll post a diary when you get underway. Roy.

Hi Brad welcome to the forum, the Lambo is a fabulous kit to build. The only tool I used for mine was a good small screwdriver set.it goes together very well.

I'm so excited that packs 3 & 4 arrived today! I haven't received packs 1 & 2 yet, so I sent an email, and they should be on their way shortly.
Do you think the Back to the Future DeLorean will ever be available? That would be awesome.

The Delorean is Eaglemoss - not DeAgostini.

I didn't even know that exists. Thanks. I get the feeling that I'm going to be building quite a few of these models.

EM released it nearly 3 years ago. It was re-released a little while ago but subscribers have recently received letters saying the kit has now been suspended. Check with Eaglemoss.

Well what can I do? If I miss that model, so be it. There are so many cool models here that I've got my hands full anyway.
Packs 1 & 2 will be here tomorrow. Can't wait!
Now I want to call CS to order extra packs each month. Get the build time halved to 6 months.

No build diary from me but I am very happy so far. I'm half way through book 4, month 2 and I'm hooked. Month 3 of 12 arrives tomorrow or Friday; so I called today and ordered months 4 and 5 too. I'd rather expedite the 12 month term since this is so much fun.

Glad to hear you are enjoying this build. I finished the Porsche, Have 1 more pack on the jag to go (and then 5 packs to put together to complete that one) but overall i am so please with my lambo build as the parts so far have been in a whole different class. If you know what you are doing (i dont) there are things you can add but to me everything on this one looks just perfect . I am also doing the harley having never put a bike kit together and that is another one that looks really good in terms of the detail. Hope yours continues well. Tony Happy Modelling

Hey guys,
My subscription has been stuck at pack 19 since last September. I've spoken with customer service a number of times over the past 6 months and I'm getting nowhere. They have no information to share. Using Covid as an excuse after 5 months is not acceptable. My hobby store imports containers monthly. Please tell me how this can be resolved. I'd like to pay for, and receive the remaining packages so that I may move on from this experience.
Thanks
Brad

Still no pack 19, a year later. No communication from the manufacturer....
6 packs away from a complete model and feeling very ripped off.
Nobody has an answer?

Over 6 months since my last post, and still, no pack 19, or later, not even a communication... Are these folks out of business? I've been waiting 18 months, so the pandemic is no longer an excuse that is acceptable for such an expensive model. HELP!!!
