Pack 19 contains parts for stages 70-73

Stage 70

Contents: Upper triple trees, Fork end caps x 2, Steering head nut, Fork ends x 2, Tubes 100mm x 2, Type K screws x 5, Type O screws x 3, Type Q screws x 2

Place the upper triple trees onto the top of the front of the frame and secure with a type Q screw, the plate should be free to rotate. Press the steering head nut onto the top of the type Q screw. Place the tops of the forks into the underside of the upper triple trees and secure with two type O screws. After looking carefully at the diagram, fit the free end of the tube from the right side of the engine to the lever assembly, as shown. Now fit the end of the tube from the left side of the engine to the connector on the left handle. Align the pins of the fork ends with the holes in the fork end caps and press the parts together before fitting them onto the tops of the forks.

Stage complete, carefully store any remaining parts in a stage labelled bag.

Stage 71

Contents: Brake fluid reservoir cover, Brake fluid reservoir cap, Brake fluid reservoir, Clutch fluid reservoir cover, Clutch fluid reservoir cap, Clutch fluid reservoir bracket, Clutch fluid reservoir, Tubes 30mm x 2, Tube 25mm

Retrieve the two 100mm tubes supplied with Stage 70 and fit them onto the ends of the two tube cables on the right handlebar.
Place the air intake over the front fender, then align the holes with the radiator and secure them with two type K screws on each side.
Ensure that the two parts of the air intake are properly aligned, then use a stop from Stage 59 to secure them together on each side.

Stage complete, carefully store any remaining parts in a stage labelled bag.

Stage 72

Contents: Tubes 125mm x 2, Tube 30mm, Tube 140mm, Regulator, Shaft, Steering damper cylinder, Regulator rod, Type L screw x 2, Type K screws x 3, Type Y screws x 3, Washers x 3

Retrieve the parts supplied with Stage 71 and press the cap onto the brake fluid reservoir and fit one of the green 30mm tubes from Stage 71 onto the spout at the base of the tank. Complete the brake fluid reservoir by fitting the cover onto it. Now assemble the clutch fluid reservoir, cap and bracket and fit the second green 30mm tube from Stage 71 to the clutch reservoir and then place the cover over the assembly. Fit the 25mm clear tube (Stage 71) between the radiator and tank.

Stage complete, carefully store any remaining parts in a stage labelled bag.

Stage 73

Contents: Tube 140mm, Tube 105mm, Tube 45mm, Connectors, Connector, Wheel axle caps x 2, Left brake caliper wiring, Right brake caliper wiring, Tubes 150mm x 2, Tube 65mm

Retrieve the regulator, steering damper cylinder and shaft supplied with Stage 72.Insert the shaft through the cylinder, and then fit the regulator into the two holes in the cylinder. Insert the regulator rod into the end of the regulator, placing the end of the rod onto the shaft. If necessary, use a drop of glue to fix the ends together. Place the steering damper on the left side of the bike, aligning the holes with those in the frame and triple trees. Fix the shock absorber into place with two type Y screws and washers supplied with Stage 72. Align the instrument panel assembly from Stage 17 onto the front of the frame and secure it with two type K screws into the lower holes on both sides of the panel. Then tighten a type L screw into the rear hole. Fit one of the 125mm tubes (Stage 72) between the instrument panel and radiator, passing it through the fairlead. If necessary, secure with glue. Fix the second tube between the instrument panel and steering damper. Secure with glue if necessary.

Stage complete, carefully store any remaining parts in a stage labelled bag.
