Stage 86
Contents: Tail fairing right, Type A screws x 3
Locate the hole in the centre of the tail fairing right and tighten a type A screw into the hole. Now locate the circled hole at the rear of the fairing and tighten a type A screw into the hole. Retrieve the rear fairing upper plate (Stage 82) and the Yamaha logo (Stage 85). Remove the protective backing from the Yamaha logo and place it into the corresponding space in the rear fairing upper plate.

Stage 87
Contents: Tail light, Tail light lens, Type A screws x 7, Type K screws x 3
Take the tail light and place it underneath the tail fairing under (Stage 85), aligning the holes of both. Fit the tail fairing left (Stage 84) to the tail fairing under with a type A screw. Now secure the front end of the fairing to the under with another type A screw from the inside. Repeat this to fix the tail fairing right (Stage 86) to the fairing under with two type A screws. Fit the tail light lens into the end of the tail fairing assembly. Insert the upper plate into the top of the tail fairing and secure it with two type A screws. Fix the end of the fairing under into place with two type K screws.

Stage 88
Contents: Seat cover, Seat base, Type T screws x 3, Type H screws x 4, Type S screws x 3, Type R screws x 5
Take the tail fairing completed in Stage 87 and align the holes at the front with those in the frame and fit two type R screws into the aligned holes, repeating this on both sides. Retrieve the tank (Stage 66) and align the holes at the side with the corresponding posts in the side of the frame as shown, securing the tank with a type S screw on either side. Feed the tank tube forward through the fairleads on the side of the airbox, the side of the frame, the top of the radiator and into the hole in the tank at the side of the duct.

Stage 89
Contents: Left fairing, Type H screws x 3, Type W screws x 2, Type A screws x 3, Type K screws x 4
First locate the ends of the twin throttle cables that were fitted in Pack 19 stage 71 step 01, placing them in the gap between the frame and the airbox trunk so they are out of sight. Retrieve the two type T screws supplied with Stage 88 along with the front fairing assembly (Stage 2). Place the front fairing onto the supports at the front of the frame and secure with two type T screws. Fix the fairing at the left side with two type H screws (Stage 88).Repeat this with two more type H screws on the right side. Retrieve the seat base and the seat cover supplied with Stage 88. Peel the protective backing away from about half of the seat cover. Fix the seat cover into place, starting at the rear of the seat base. Work forward, removing the backing as you go.
