After priming and painting the two forward gun bases, these are placed centrally on the deck as per the plan. Be sure to check the correct orientation of the thicker of the two bases, it is a sloping section and is thicker at its forward side than its aft side, which is to compensate for the deck angle and provides a level gun mount. I then test-fitted all three main guns onto the bases, not forgetting that the forward gun does not have machine guns. Tomick attached the following image(s):

Further forward deck detail added. Paint the ply deck parts grey, then copy the alignment line from the plan onto the deck. Glue the plates into place upon the deck, then add the deck details into position which were prepared earlier. Tomick attached the following image(s):
