Hello and welcome back all. It has been an interesting few months and I hope everyone is well and safe.
Back to the modified build with a little work.
Let's get back to building this GT-40;
In 3 we have stages 6-9.
Stage 6 was a simple build, but will be modified and weathered when the car is complete, that will be a surprise on what will be done. If you remember in stage 1 We painted the headlight housings in a very flat black. This was the result........ See picture below.
Stages 7,8,9 refer to the car seats. The gold discs were to hard and artificial. They need to be weather or drilled out. Since this is modified build we will be using the weather option.
I used Tamiya Dark Brown Panel liner in the recesses and the outer areas. This gave the gold tone a slight tarnished look. After adding the driver's seat trim from Stage 8 this was the result.
On Stage 9, I used the same Tamiya Dark Brown Panel Liner Method.
