Try re-sizing your images to below 140kb. That way, they will show up on the forum page without anyone needing to download them.

Hi William, Have connected your two posts from today to your original diary and sent you a PM on how to avoid having your diary appear in several places. Further info on resizing your pics can be found in this link: https://forum.model-spac....aspx?g=posts&t=244

Very nice! Did you remove any material to account for the thickness of the leather? I have all the leather to wrap my interior too, but I haven’t started yet. I’m thinking that trying to shave off .5mm evenly will likely just result in an uneven surface. But the other issue I want to solve before I start gluing is what to do with the leather edges. I really don’t want the rough edge exposed, so my thought is I’ll try to router a small indent all the way around the perimeter, and tuck the edge of the leather into the created ridge, hopefully making it appear wrapped, the way it would appear on the real door card. -Dustin

I really don’t want the rough edge exposed, so my thought is I’ll try to router a small indent all the way around the perimeter, and tuck the edge of the leather into the created ridge, hopefully making it appear wrapped, the way it would appear on the real door card. When I built my E Type I trimmed all the interior in leather including the door steps/sills. It made no difference to the operation of the doors as the leather was so thin it didn't matter. To get over the possible pough edge of the cut leather, I applied mine using industrial D/S tape on the back of the leather. The leather was cut bigger than required, and then stuck to the door panel and pressed firmly down. Then, turn the door panel face down and gut around it with a new blade. The leather will then have a razor-sharp edge. To hide the edge of the plastic I just mixed up a paint colour that matched the leather and painted the edges of the panel. Simples... BTW - Great work going on with this build.
