As promised here are some pictures of the new paragrafix cockpit detail set for the Deagostini x-wing.

The set consist of a fret of photoetched brass, a decal sheet and a bunch of 3d printed parts. The instructions are very straighforward.Like most of these sets you use the kit parts and shave off the raised detail and then place the photoetched parts. The decals are nicely printed, but thye do need to be trimmed and the 3d pritned parts are really nicely detailed.

I think this is an excellent set if you want to jazz up your x-wing.

there is a also a cockpit set offered by falcon 3dmodel which is a highly detailed part that replaces most of the deagostini cockpit,but this needs a lot more work to install and paint and is quite a bit more expensive.
