Hi Nightwisher,
I've just been admiring your workmanship on the decks.
Very neat and tidy indeed. Well done sir.

Thank you very much for the positive comments they mean a lot. Progress has been slow but I don't mind if it takes a while. The skids and stairs have been remade from walnut and fitted. The bulkhead cappings are also fitted, i wanted these to follow the curves of the ship. I found these incredibly hard to bend across their width and had to resort to splitting the forward ones in half, bending and glueing them back together again .

WOW! I love your build - so incredibly neat...and brave to do in wood stain. Unfortunately I chose a paint finish so that I could at least cover any mistakes I made! LOL

Looking forward to seeing how you progress, keep up the good work!

Many thanks for the kind words. I haven't had much spare time lately so progress has been slow. I have got some work done on the gallery though. Not a fan of the official way of building the gallery windows so have been making my own from plasticard strips , very time consuming.

Thanks for looking in guys ,glad you like my windows. The premium gallery upgrade from woody models was out of my price range so I just got the resin mouldings and spindle decorations set. The windows are made from plasticard strip and are very time consuming in fact there are 32 tiny pieces in each window here is a pic of halfway through a set of 3.
