Very neat work Walter.

So pleased i managed to get this kit before it sold out as it can be turned into a lovely looking model seeing what you have done with yours.

Thanks Paul!

I planked the middle deck bulwarks, framed the entry ports and stored the tool for the cannons.

As for the mast bands i came back to the good old black-thread-method, as i think this looks better than some masking tape or black cardboard.

Finished the bulwarks of the middle deck. Started planking the deck.
Then attached the mast and added an additional mast collar for the orlop deck.

Very nice looking model Walter.

I really want to make a start on mine but need to get things sorted in my head first as i keep thinking “i will do this”, “i will do that” and in the end either do nothing or start something i don't finish.

This model deserves proper attention if i do start it.

Hope yours continues well.

Tony

A quick question if I may?
During earlier stages of my build of HMS Victory I suggested that I place some barrels adjacent to the cannon on the lower deck.
The response from this forum was that there would never have been barrels anywhere near the area, and I totally understood that opinion..
But looking at Walters build here, he has done exactly what I had suggested?
