Well, another update, even if only to bore you all to death...LOL LOL LOL

I've added upper screen surrounds cut from thin plastic, to support the vac form screens later on. A lower support still to be added.

I've also discovered the red car had a grey interior tub.
Now repainted...

Still battling ahead with the two Porsche.
The red one is taking time as I'm having to make all the components for the model.
It started out as only a body shell.

On we go...

Nice work on both Porsches Roy, loving both equally, but a great display of your scratchbuilding and resin moulding skills on the red one!

Both are gonna look pretty cool when they're finished, well done! Cool ThumpUp

Many thanks for the comments chaps.

The two cars are moving along now. Not too far to go.

I've cast the extra dash needed and painted both. The kit comes with no gauge or switch decals or detail so I made my own using a photo of a real 917 dash and printed the images on photo paper and then applied them.
Almost pointless as once the cars are complete they are virtually invisible.

There were no side windows in the original kit so I made them for both cars from an empty plastic drinks bottle.
Just the right curve.

The interiors are pretty much completed and are now also fixed into the bodies, as are the dashboards.
Transmissions also now fitted.

The red car now also has two front wheels.
On we plod...

These two are getting near the finish line now.

Both have 4 wheels, all the screens and now also the front lights and covers.
I still need to add black surrounds on the screens and lights.
Rear light bars in place so next will be the rear under-cages and some drive shaft bits.

I can only repeat what I've said before.

These really are just about the WORST kits I've ever come across.
Literally nothing fits, parts horrendously made, innacurate, wonky, you name it - BAD.
That aside, it's fun trying to make even a 'cloth' purse (never mind silk...) out of a REAL pig's ear.
