That looks a fantastic kit Mick and yes, the cutaway version will be a lot more work, but well worth it as you will have a much more interesting display piece at the end of it?

Well done, an excellent choice of kit and well done too for adding to the topics in the military section. I'll be following your build all of the way. Drool ThumpUp

Great to see you back Mick and working on this fab model again. I've heard a lot of good things about these 'Rye Models' kits especially the level of detail that is included.

Making a great job of it so far, looking forward to seeing more. Well done. Cool ThumpUp

Hi thanks to all who looked in and left comments much appreciated, done bit more to this, fitted storage boxes batterys lil air tank both the seats, shock absorber and it's cover, clutch or brakes not sure which plus there covers, ammo bins plus 30 shells each has 2 decals on them, the floor just in loose as guide for ammo bins as it's all tight in there, then test fit of upper hull and turret all fits well. As there is no room for errors here. Cheers mick. BigGrin

That looks a highly complicated transmission Mick, how many parts went into that one assembly!Blink Cool

I've heard reports that these Ryefield kits are something else when it comes to the level of detail provided in the standard 'out of the box' build. May have to get one just to enjoy the experience of building one!

Keep those updates coming Mick, looking really good so far!! Drool

Hi kev there are 62 parts to make up the transmission about 1200 in kit as a whole but over 500 to the tracks alone the cutaway version will use less as not got the parts of the tank there to use them all I have had to scrape tiny amounts off here and there to get a better fit ,but nothing major don't think it will be last of these I'll do .cheers mick BigGrin

Hello Mick,

62?!! Blink Huh

Wow! That's a lot of parts in such a small scale, but you've done an amazingly tidy job of putting it all together, so very well done to you sir, top job! ThumpUp
