Hi Budgie
Yes essentially it's the same, and a good price too (comparatively!). Due to the popularity of Bismark lately they have re-issued their kit. Don't know if DA will release it again under their banner though

BigGrin Hi Folks
decided to treat myself as special(so they say) birthday this month.

Pics of what's in the box

Basically Hachette parts work with nice shiny books of build instructions and full size plan sheets of all parts

There is a lot of plastic parts so perhaps the Trumpeter version with upgrade kits may be a more favourable way of spending your hard earned bucks, working out at around the same price

Looks a very nice kit Stewart and one which I'm sure will bring you an immense amount of pleasure throughout the build. There are certain 'milestone' birthdays throughout your lifetime that will always warrant a very special treat for yourself, so it's always great when you can do that.

I have a very special 'treat' type birthday coming up in a couple of years and I know exactly what I am going to treat myself to, a very expensive kit that I have been saving towards with great anticipation!

Enjoy! ThumpUp
