Good day to all. It has been a long time since I posted, partwork kits, the pandemic, shipping pipeline problems it has affected us all. Today I have a lot of posting to do and I am looking forward to sharing with this build group.

Let's get that spare tire started (mine started a long time ago with some good food and wine......bad joke)

Pack 14 Stages 56 thru 58 is the Spare in the front hood area. It is a simple build and a quick one also. I did not weather out the wheel, but that will change as we get closer to the end of the build.

To continue with Pack 14 Stages 59 thru 60 was a straight build with no weathering. Come Pack 15 all of that will change.

Pack 15 now we see where pack 14 stages 59 and 60 come into play.
Stage 61 thru 62 build it straight from the packs and assemble as one unit.

This is where the weathering begins........ After Stages 59 thru 62 were put together. I have decided to wash the recess down with the Tamiya Panel Liner Dark Brown as a base and let it dry. I then did a little more washing with Tamiya Panel Liner Black. This created an oil based soot finish.

Now Back to the rest............of Pack 15

The sound test. It was simple part of the build. I purchased the batteries at a lock store and installed the. Turn the power on and press the accelerator. Engine revs. That is a good thing.

Stage 63 through 65 were a standard out of the pack build more to follow with weathering on Pack 16

Pack 16

Stage 66 was assemble according to the instructions. I used the Tamiya Panel Liner mix of Dark Brown and a little Black. Since this is closest to the engine bay. I needed a little engine mix on the parts. I also painted the brake caliper with a metallic brown to offset the silver color. After the wheel was added to the final assembly. I used the Tamiya Dark Brown Panel Liner in the wheel recesses. As we get closer to the end these wheels (all four will be weather more)

Stages 67 thru 70 Just follow the above (Stage 66) step for weathering of the brake and tire.

That completes packs 14,15 and 16. Soon I will follow up with pack 17 and 18. This is getting close.
