I've decided to pull this one out of my stash where it's been hiding for around 7-8 years. I'm aware it's very innacurate in places and to make things worse, the body is quite warped and one screen pillar broken. That aside, it's apparently a hard kit to find and strangely, it fetches a fair price nowadays. I'm not going to go mad and correct the 'wrong' bits unless it's pretty straightforward. After the twin Porsche aggro, I want something fairly simple to do. I'll add to the engine and interior, and I'm going to make it in a race scheme - undecided which one as yet. roymattblack attached the following image(s):

Kind words Derek. Many thanks. Here's the car I'm going to base the model on... roymattblack attached the following image(s):

Where would the fun be with out a little challenge. Very nice kit and I’m sure you you’ll do your usual great job on it even with your eyes closed. Mark

Thanks for looking in chaps. Well, I really have no great aspirations about this one. It's no better than a 1/32 Airfix kit, just bigger. NOTHING has any real detail. I didn't bother adding anything to the front suspension etc as it will never be seen anyway. The engine - almost funny. A simple V6 plastic blob. NO iconic top oil filters, distributors mounted at the front - WRONG - I moved them to the rear. No ignition leads, fuel linwes, no pipe work - the list goes on. I've added and altered where required so the eventually, the engine might look a bit more presentable. We shall see... roymattblack attached the following image(s):

A bit more on this one. I've added a lot of wiring etc and now fitted the back firewall. The wiring will be fed through the side firewalls later on. roymattblack attached the following image(s):

On we go... The basic plasticky interior has now been painted, carpeted and the seat parts trimmed in real leather and the inner 'tub' fixed to the floor/chassis section. I tested the body fit and I have to say that it's excellent. Surprising for a pretty basic old Revell kit. On we go... roymattblack attached the following image(s):
