Yes, I'm a glutton for punishment.

This one has been hiding in a box for ages.
I thought I'd give it a go.

It's a Ferrari 250 GT SWB (I think) - 1/12 scale resin.
It's very detailed - LOADS of engine/chassis/interior detail.

However, the body is a bit worse for wear.
Added to that, I have no instructions and no idea who manufactured the kit.

Anyway, first order of the day is to attempt to put the jigsaw puzzle together.LOL LOL LOL

Thanks for that Glyn.

Well, after a good 3 hours of head scratching, Superglue and epoxy, I have a body.
STILL a huge amount of filling, sanding, priming and paint before anything else.
The yellow lines are the breaks/glued parts.

A very LONG way to go and I really STILL need to track down the kit manufacturers to get some kit instructions.
I have four BIG bags of parts - many in etch and metal - and NO idea where they go.Blink Blink Blink LOL LOL LOL

After gluing and filling last night, This morning, lots of sanding and then a coat of primer to show up the dodgy areas still needing attention.
Fairly pleased so far though.

Thanks for peeping in and commenting chaps.

After a few days drying time for the primer, the body had a final sanding with 1000 grit and 3 light coats of yellow followed by a final wet-coat.

Now to leave it at least 24 hours before a bit of buffing.

Many thanks for looking in Dustin.

I've realised this model isn't 1/12 scale at all - it's 1/16.
I'm also currently working on a Revell 1/12 275GT and it's a LOT bigger.

Anyway - the main engine parts are now assembled - terrible, rough, ill-fitting castings - and I've added the missing wiring and fuel lines.

WHY do I keep torturing myself with these awful projects???LOL LOL LOL
