The Victory is my second "proper" model (No disrespect to all those Airfix Kits of my youth)

The Bismark my first build was a steep learning curve and the Victory is just as much of a challenge, but in a different way. There is much more construction of parts with the Victory but it is fun in a masochistic sort of way and she who must be obeyed puts up with the "ripe" language that is heard on occasions.

Painting the hull has been fiddly and sometimes frustrating. I think I would have added some of the parts i.e. the external steps, the entrance canopy and the fenders after painting the stripes as this would have been easier but this is filed away for the next build.

In order to help me with the painting I have constructed a jig which presents the hull to me at a 45 degree angle which i found much easier than if the hull was upright. Also used this when painting the Hull. Was not to keen on turning my model upsidedown. Not sure what might fall off and some of the parts would be a right BB to reattatch.
