Wonder if this will come to the UK?
https://www.hachette.de/

Looks fully multi-function, like Bismarck & Titanic
Here’s a link to Mario Shipbuilders YouTube video (best watched with auto translate switched on)

Thoughts, anyone?

Confused Confused Confused Confused

140 issues at an average of approx £12 it would need to be really good for a total around £1680. Crying

I`ll pass as I have the full wood on frame version already.

For anyone who takes it up, I`m sure it will be a good kit, but priced out of my range at that price.

Good luck to any future builders.

BigGrin I know what you are saying, Del, but then it's £8.99 for the Bismarck, and £9.99 for the Titanic, and U96 is bigger than both!
Maybe it will have come down in price by the time it reaches these shores (if it ever does).
I too have the original in my stash, but like the 'upgrades' on the new one. Would i subscribe? Only time will tell ThumpUp

Its quite interesting how hachette have “re-launched” previous kits using wood, as die-cast.

I was watching Mario giving review of the U-96 which i believe is only a test at this stage in Germany.

I still have the Wood as well as the metal version Bismarck kits stored away - not sure if/when i will ever get too look at them. Similar with the original wood based U-96 - makes me wonder now why i bothered collecting them :-)

Its interesting watching other peoples builds on these new kits though i must say.
