Hi All, BigGrin

Well its time to start a new pack that covers Issues 15 - 18. Woot

Now, for this pack my descriptions will not be so detailed as we are now building the "Left" arm which is just a mirrored copy of the "Right".

As with the "Right" arm we start with the elbow joint. This is covered over two issues (15 and 16), so I would suggest that as before these issues are built one after the other, that way you don`t end up with loose parts laying about whilst waiting to move onto Issue 16.

Lets get on then.Blink

Issue 15 parts supplied are shown in Pic 1.

Start by placing an elbow joint washer on the pivot points of the elbow joint cover shown in Pic 2.

Then, finish issue 15 by placing the elbow joint (upper and lower) pieces in place as per Pic 3.

That was quite painless, so move onto issue 16 that will be posted soon. Cool

Hi All, BigGrin

Onto Issue 16:

As previously stated instructions in this build section will be reduced as its a carbon copy of the "Right arm"

Now here comes the next update, where we will finish the elbow joint for the left arm.

Pic 1 shows the parts supplied.

Place two washers onto the pivot points of the elbow cover supplied with this issue. Pic 2.

Now bring the built parts from the last issue back to your work space and fit the elbow connector in place as shown in Pic 3.

Bring the two sides of the elbow joint together, making sure the washers all stay in place. Pic 4.

Then, to close this issue fix the two halves of the elbow joint together using two GP screws as indicated in Pic 5.

That`s all for this issue. In issue 17 we will proceed to build the forearm of the left arm.

Thanks for looking in and take care until the next update. ThumpUp

Hi All, BigGrin

This update is for Issue 17 and will be virtually a copy of the same part of the right arm.

Therefore, fewer words and similar pictures, but that`s the nature of the beast where parts of a build are replicated.

Parts supplied are shown in Pic 1.

Add the forearm plate to the left forearm Pic 2.

Position the forearm top as shown. Pic 3.

Then secure with an IP screw as per Pic 4.

The forearm section is now complete for this stage. Pic 5.

You now need to return the elbow joint to your work table along with the forearm section you just built.

Position the elbow joint as shown and secure it with two DM screws. Pic 6.

Turning over the completed part you now have, it should match that shown in Pic 7.

Until next time stay safe and see you soon.ThumpUp

Hi All, BigGrin

Well, here we go with the closing issue of this pack. Issue 18.

Parts for this issue are as always shown in Pic 1.

Unfortunately. we are still in repeat building mode while we carry on constructing the left arm.

So, lets get on with finishing the left forearm.

Position the forearm protector in place onto the left forearm plate supplied with this issue. Pic 2.

Holding the two parts together, flip them over and secure them with an IP screw. Pic 3.

Now, fit the two wrist joint parts together and secure them together with a JP screw. As before take note of the differences in the size of the base plate from one side to another. All shown in Pic 4.

Next, place the rubber seal over the joint and make sure the orientation of the parts is as shown in Pic 5.

Bring this issues forearm plate back to your work area and whilst keeping the wrist joint in the correct orientation, position it into the forearm with the longest half of the wrist base plate going into the forearm. Pic 6.

Bring the two halves of the forearm together now and make sure that the two halves come together neatly. If they don`t then check the orientation of the wrist joint parts as described earlier. The forearm should now look like the one in Pic 7.

To complete issue 18, fix the two halves of the forearm together with four EM screws and finally check that the elbow to forearm joint still moves as required. Pic 8.

That completes this issue and pack, so I`ll see you soon with the next pack that I`m working on now. Issues 19 - 22.
