Postie has arrived today with the next pack of the Infinity Gauntlet. Cool

This is the eighth pack and covers Issues 32 - 36, which means by the end of this pack we will be slightly over one third of the way through this build.

This pack is light on the amount of work required, but the real size of this model really comes to the fore. Its huge.

So, onto Issue 32: Adding armour to the upper surface of the Index Finger.

Parts supplied ...... Pic 1.

Fit the large piece of armour A21 over the finger as shown in Pic 2, making sure that this is placed squarely over the finger as it is a snug fit. When fully located use an 02 type (silver) screw to keep the armour plate in position, Pic 3. Part D08 which forms a screw cover and completes the pattern of the armour is now pressed into position as shown in Pic 4.

That completes this Issue, Pic 5.


See you soon for the next update that will complete the Index finger, apart from fixing it to the rest of the Gauntlet.

Well this update is for Issue 33 of the Gauntlet.

This update , like the last is not long and it finishes the Index Finger apart from putting it in its final position in the Gauntlet.

Parts ..... Pic 1.

Start by fully engaging the large armour piece (99A) over the lower end of the finger. Pic 2. Then secure the part by using an 02 type (silver) screw. Pic 3. Finally press the screw cover that completes the pattern of the armour into place. Pic 4.

Blink Blink That`s it for this update. Pic 5. Carefully store the finger until required later, so that no damage occurs.


Issue 34 coming soon, where we get the first part of the forearm armour that attaches to the wrist.

After the last very short update I`m afraid this one is not much better.Crying

Here`s the next update for Issue 35.

Parts ….. Pic 1.

You will also need the part from Issue 34.

Start by bringing the two plates from Issues 34 and 35 together, making sure that the posts fully engage into the holes so that the parts lay flat against each other, Pic 2. Then whilst holding the parts together, fix them together by using 3 x type 01 screws (black) Pic 3. NOTE: If the screws won`t fully tighten, just turn them back half a turn to clear the thread and all should be ok. Don`t force them or you may strip the thread / snap the screw.

This is the update for Issue 36 which ends this pack. So I`ll then be waiting for the next delivery.Blink Blink

In this update we extend the forearm of the armour by adding another plate to those assembled in the previous update.

Parts..... Pic 1.

You also need the assembly from Issue 35.

Bring the assembly from Issue 35 and locate the plate from this issue as shown in Pic 2. Holding the parts together, turn them over and fix them together using 3 x type 01 screws (black) Pic 3. NOTE: Be careful with them screws as before.

That`s it for this update Pic 4.

For an insight into the scale of this model, especially for those following but not building it I have added Pic 5. These plates make up the forearm guard that goes from the wrist approximately half way up the forearm.
