Issue 37

Assembling Some Pelvis and Torso Detail.

Picture 1 shows the contents of the parts for this issue.

Take the parts (37F, 37C and a UP screw), picture 2. Insert the pin of the left headlight (37F) into the hole of the bracket (37D) and secure with a UP screw, picture 3. Snap the bracket into the holes on the left of the torso as shown in picture 4. Pass the cable through the gap as shown in picture 5, feeding it towards the front and pull it through the hole in the top of the torso as you did with the right side in issue 35.
Note: You may need to use some tweezers to grab the cable to pull it through.

Take the torso detail (37E) and snap it onto the pins as highlighted in picture 6. It is advised to take the pins off, snaping on the detail before returning them to their original location.

Fix the left pelvis plate onto the protruding ball joint as shown in pictures 7 and 8.

Insert the pin on detail (37B) onto the detail (37D), then secure with an IP screw, pictures 9 and 10.

Retrieve the left rear plate, assembled in issue 24, and connect it to the assembly you’ve just made, by inserting the two pins and push fitting it together, picture 11. Now attach the end of the arm coming off the plate onto the protruding ball joint on the left side of the pelvis, picture 12.

Pictures 13 and 14 show both sides of the assembly for this issue.

Issue 39

Assembling The Torso.

Picture 1 shows the contents of the parts for this issue.

Place the right front panel support 39C in the left recess of the front upper torso panel 39B as shown in picture 2. Secure it in place with 2 x IP screws, picture 3. Now do the same with the left front panel as shown in pictures 4 and 5.

Next, we fit the decals to the left and right rear plates, picture 6. Cut out the decals as shown in picture 7 and soak them in water for about a minute. Do this one at a time. Using a brush, manoeuvre them into position. You may need to add some more water to position them. When they are in position, gently press them with a paper towel, being careful not to dislodge them.

Picture 8 shows the complete assembly for this issue.

Issue 40

Assembling The Torso.

Picture 1 shows the contents of the parts for this issue.

Insert one end of the cable 40D into socket B on the printed circuit board 40C as shown in pictures 2, 3 and 4. Place the circuit board on the inside of the rear upper torso panel 39A, feeding the cable through the hole, picture 5. Secure the board with 2 x IP screws, again picture 5, with picture 6 showing the front view of the panel with the loose end of the cable through the hole.

Place the assembled panel onto the upper fixed connection by placing the two pins into the two holes as shown in picture 7. Secure this with 2 x FM screws, picture 8. Connect the assembly from the last issue to the rear of panel 39A so it closes around the upper fixed connection. Secure the assembly with 2 x XP screws, picture 9.

Snap the left lower front plate 40A onto the free ball joint on the rear left torso as shown in picture 10. Do the same with the right lower front plate, push fitting it onto the free ball joint of the rear detail on the right-hand side of the torso.

Picture 11 shows the complete assembly for this issue.

Issue 41

Assembling The Left Shoulder.

Picture 1 shows the contents of the parts for this issue.

Push fit the two support caps 41G into the holes on the left shoulder frame support as shown in picture 2. Note: the two caps come in a separate bag to the other cap 41H.
Push fit cap 41H into the shoulder frame support as shown in picture 3. Now place the shoulder extension detail 41D as shown in picture 4, followed by the shoulder frame support 41F, picture 5. Note the detail parts will only fit one way due to the crescent shaped pins.

Connect the upper left shoulder extension 41B to the shoulder frame support and secure with 2 x CP screws, pictures 6 and 7.

Place the left arm anchor 41C into the assembly so that the holes in the anchor align with the holes in the assembly. Secure with the anchor pin 41E, pictures 8 and 9. Note: you will need a pair of pliers to secure the pin in place. Make sure you have the right orientation before securing the pin.

That complete assembly for this issue.
