STAGE 4:

These parts will allow you to assemble the Mr Fusion reactor.

Locate the reactor top and cover, parts 4B and 4C.
The small yellow cover fits into the opening in the larger part and is secured by twisting it sideways.
This part is NOT a tight fit so take care not to lose it.

Fit the larger reactor disc, part 4E (incorrectly labelled as 4C in the printed instructions) over the assembled upper reactor top parts and secure with 2 x AP screws.
The printed instructions also incorrectly show three raised ‘tubes’ on the part. These do not exist.

Fit the clear inner cover – 4D and fix in place using 2 x CP screws.

Locate the two Mr Fusion reactor parts, 4J and 4M. Fit them together and fix using 3 x AP screws.

Take the clear parts 4K and 4L and fit them together. Clip this assembly into the opening in the Mr Fusion reactor.

Clip the upper clear cover, part 4N into place on the top of the reactor.
This part is NOT a tight fit and may benefit from being carefully fitted using a small drop of clear canopy adhesive or similar, at the builders discretion.

Locate the Mr Fusion hatch and the first hinge part, 4F and 4G and 2 x AP screws.
Fix the hinge part to the hatch using the screws.
Fit the hatch to the chamber, part 4E using 1 x AP screw.

Fit the Mr Fusion reactor to the outer top of the hatch cover and secure with 1 x AP screw from inside.

Locate the two latch parts, 4H and 4I. Fit them together as shown in the picture and secure with 2 x CP screws.
Fit the latch to the reaction chamber body using 1 x AP screw.

Locate the two tiny springs, part 4P. These fit onto the tiny pegs on the end of the red latch part, 4H.
The other ends of the springs fit under the lip on the black part of the latch, 4I and are secured through the small holes in the tab using 2 x CP screws. (Incorrectly labelled in the printed instruction as DP)

Locate the silver body panel, part 4O.
Fit the reactor assembly to the upper surface and fix in place from underneath using 3 x AP screws.

OPTIONAL DETAIL:
You can fill the three screw holes in the side of the Mr Fusion reactor with small discs of plastic cut using a craft puch. This at the builders discretion.

Store all parts and spare screws for future use.

STAGE 5:

These parts will allow you to build the front left suspension unit.

Locate the suspension tower and lower link arm, parts 5A and 5B.
Fit them together and fix using 2 x AM screws. The parts should be free to move.

Fit the spring rod, part 5D into the lower link from below, and fix using 2 x BM screws.

Fit the coil spring over the rod and secure into the top of the suspension tower using 1 x EM screw.

Locate the upper control arm, part 5C and fit it to the top of the tower. Fix it in place from each side using 2 x CM screws, one on each side.

Fit the front upright, part 5E into place between the ends of the tower assembly. The longer arm should be at the top.
Fix both ends in place using 2 x DM screws. The part should be free to swivel.

Fit the small spring, part 5I over the positioning column, part 5H.
Fix these parts in place through the hole in the tab on the disc, part 5F.
Secure from the other side using 1 x DP screw.

Locate the brake caliper, part 5G and press into place on the brake disc.
Fix from behind using 1 x AP screw.
Fit this assembly to the main suspension unit, using 1 x DM screw through the hole in the lower tab on the disc. Do not over tighten this screw as the disc needs to be able to move up and down.

Store the assembly until later.

STAGE 6:

These parts will allow you to build the front right suspension unit.

This stage is a complete repeat of the previous stage 5 but opposite. Note that the part numbers are now labelled as ‘6’.

Once completed, you will have assembled both the left and right front suspension units.

Store these parts safely until later in the build.
