Issue 43
Assembling The Left Shoulder.
Picture 1 shows the contents of the parts for this issue.
Take the left shoulder outer frame ring (43D) and the arm joint (43A), picture 2, and slide the ring over the joint as shown in picture 3.
Note: The fixing on the arm joint is hexagonal and not a “D” shape as shown in the magazine.
Insert the position gear (43F) as shown in picture 4. Place the retaining plate (43E) over the top, positioning the tabs in the slots, and apply a little quick drying glue to hold it in place, picture 5.
Insert the spring (43G) into the hole in the assembly you did in the last issue, pictures 6 and 7. Now place the assembly you’ve just made over the top, picture 8. Make sure the shaft passes through the hole and while keeping pressure to keep the parts together, secure it with a PM screw and washer, picture 9. Picture 10 shows it in place.
Fit the left shoulder detail (43B) onto the upper pin as shown in picture 11 and secure it with an SP screw, picture 12. Finally, fit the shoulder extension plate (43C) by applying a little quick drying glue to both tabs, picture 13.
Picture 14 shows the complete assembly for this issue.

Issue 44
Assembling The Left Shoulder.
Picture 1 shows the contents of the parts for this issue.
Connect the left underarm joint (44A) to the inner face of the shoulder assembly as shown in pictures 2 and 3. Place the friction disc (44C) into the recess on the lug on the inside face as shown in pictures 4 and 5. Now fit the inner joint (44B) over the lug making sure the holes line up, picture 6. Insert the hexagonal screw (44I) through the holes and tighten it with the socket wrench that came in this issue. Insert the self-locking nut on the other end, using both the socket wrench and the spanner that came in issue 13, picture 7.
Place the two friction discs (44D) with the grooves facing out, in the joint as shown in pictures 8 and 9. Use a little quick drying glue to hold these in place. Attach the shoulder assembly to the torso as shown in picture 10.
Note: I would recommend test fitting the screw (44H) in both assemblies before attaching the two parts together. The screw is a very tight fit and was quite hard to push the screw all the way down through the holes before applying the locking nut. There is also another screw that stops you using the socket wrench to wind the screw all the way down. I used the spanner, which was not easy.
Take the screw along with a lock washer and the larger washer (44L), picture 11, and place this through the holes on the two assemblies, using the locking nut as shown in pictures 12, 13 and 14. You can move the joint into a position that makes it easier to access the locking nut.
Insert an outer shoulder connector (44G) into an inner one (44E) and join them with a pin (44F), picture 15. Do the same with the remaining two, picture 16.
Clip the detail in as shown in picture 17. Attach two of the shoulder connectors as shown in picture 18, whilst placing the final connector on the opposite side as shown in picture 19.
Picture 20 shows the complete assembly for this issue.

Issue 45
Assembling The Right Shoulder.
Picture 1 shows the contents of the parts for this issue.
Push fit the two support caps 45G into the holes on the right shoulder frame support as shown in picture 2. Note: the two caps come in a separate bag to the other cap 45H. Push fit cap 45H into the shoulder frame support as shown in picture 3. Now place the shoulder extension detail 45D as shown in picture 4, followed by the shoulder frame support 45F, picture 5. Note the detail parts will only fit one way due to the crescent shaped pins.
Connect the upper right shoulder extension 45B to the shoulder frame support and secure with 2 x CP screws, pictures 6 and 7.
Place the right arm anchor 45C into the assembly so that the holes in the anchor align with the holes in the assembly. Secure with the anchor pin 45E, pictures 8 and 9. Note: you will need a pair of pliers to secure the pin in place. Make sure you have the right orientation before securing the pin.
That complete assembly for this issue.
