Hi All,
Postie delivered Pack 7 of the 1:6 Mustang today. It covers issue 24 - 28.
So here`s the first update for Issue 24, where we will continue work on the exhaust system we started in the last issue #23.
Parts supplied.....Pic 1. You will also need the both the left and right tail pipes from Issue 23.
Start with the left pipe (marked "L") 24C and the transverse muffler part 24B. Press fit the pipe into the muffler as shown in Pics 2 and 3, noting that it fits into the smaller/lower position as indicated. Then repeat that with the right pipe (marked "R") 24D as shown in Pics 4 and 5.
Bring the tail pipes from issue 23 to the table and press the left pipe into place in the larger opening in the muffler as shown in Pics 6 and 7. Repeat that operation with the right tail pipe, Pics 8 and 9.
To finish, put the second half of the muffler 24A in place, noting the orientation of the fixing posts. All shown in Pic 10. Then fix the two halves of the muffler together using 2 x PS02 screws. Pic 11.
That completes this update. Pic 12. See you soon with the next update.

Hi All,
It`s time for the update for Issue 25. This update will construct the front left hub and brake assembly and fit it to the wheel.
Parts supplied.....Pic 1. You will also need the wheel/tyre and magnetic hub centre from Issue 10.
Start by carefully fitting the brake pipe 25E to the caliper 25D. Pic 2. Now position the stub axle 25C through the disc protector 25A, making sure that the two locating pins are correctly engaged. Pic 3. Then whilst keeping the parts together place the brake disc 25B over the stub axle Pic 4. Follow that by placing the caliper round the disc and fix it in place using a DS01 screw. Pic 5.
Before you fit the assembly into the wheel, take note of the cut-out in the disc shown in Pic 6. This will engage the lug on the inside of the wheel. Fit the assembly into the wheel and secure them with a DS12 screw in the centre of the wheel. Pic 7. The backside of the wheel/hub assembly is shown in Pic 8.
Finally place the magnetic hub centre over the central screw. Pic 9.
So that`s all for now, see you soon for Issue 26.

Hi All,
Time for the next update, Issue 26.
In this update we build the top of the fuel tank, that will be used again in Issue 28.
Parts supplied.....Pic 1.
Take the two halves of the filler pipe 26B and 26C, Pic 2 and aligning the pins and holes press them together. Pic 3. Note: In Pic 3 there is a lug on the side of the locating pin. This will orientate the pipe correctly when fixed to the top of the tank.
So, position the filler pipe into place on the top of the tank 26A. Pic 4. Then fix the pipe in place using a PS20 screw. Pic 5.
That completes this update. Pic 6.
My next update will cover Issues 27 and 28 as Issue 27 is just part supplied with nothing to do.

Hi All,
Ok, this is the update for Issue 27 of the Mustang.
It`s very short, as it is a part supply only, with nothing to do.
The scary bit is that this one piece (the rear chassis) weighs in at 466 gms or in old money 16.5 ozs. That`s only a third of the chassis.
Anyway, part supplied.....Pic 1. Don`t hide it away as it is integral for Issue 28, coming very soon.
