Hi All,
I have it on good authority that the Enterprise D arrival is imminent:
USS Enterprise (NCC-1701-D), or Enterprise-D, to distinguish it from other vessels with the same name, is a starship in the Star Trek media franchise. Under the command of Captain Jean-Luc Picard (actor - Patrick Stewart). It is the main setting of Star Trek: The Next Generation (1987–1994) and the film Star Trek Generations (1994).
The "Next Generation" occurs in the 24th century, beginning 78 years after the adventures in the original Star Trek (1966–1969). Andrew Probert's Enterprise-D updates Matt Jefferies' iconic 1960s Enterprise design, depicting a ship supporting a larger crew on a longer mission "to boldly go where no one has gone before."
Well, it looks like I`m boldly going where I`ve never been before.
My original trade was as an electro-mechanical engineer. Printed Circuit boards were about, but "electronic valves" were still around (Google it,  ).
When I build this huge kit, it will be as per the instructions and the only modifications will be to improve part fit and to stop light bleed, if and when required (based on the original kit spec).
So, the parts are coming out soon at Warp Factor "Post office".
