Issue 31

The Right Knee Joint

Picture 1 shows the contents of this issue.

Insert the nut (31G) into the lower knee joint as shown in picture 2. Place over the bracket (31F) and secure with 2 x SP screws, picture 3.

Fit the spring (31D) into the cylindrical opening at the end of the lower knee joint, picture 4, followed by the joint gear (31A), picture 5.

Insert the circular end of the upper knee joint (31E), picture 6 and sandwich it between both sides of the lower knee joint, securing it with 2 x EP screws, picture 7. Finally, screw in the long screw (31H) into the outside hole of 31A and screw into the bolt on the other side, picture 8.

Once assembled, check that the joint can move as also shown in picture 8.

That completes the assembly for this issue.

Issue 32

The Right Knee Joint

Picture 1 shows the contents of this issue.


Take the right knee joint assembly from the previous issue and push fit over the knee sleeve (32A) as shown in picture 2. Slide the sleeve down until the assembly is visible at the top to allow to upper knee joint (32B) to be attached, picture 3, securing it with 2 x BP screws. Turn the assembly over and attach the other half of the upper knee joint (32C) and secure it onto the joint (32B) with 2 x EP screws, picture 4. Push the sleeve back to its original position.

Take the assembly along with the assembly from issue 30 and fit the knee joint inside the right leg as shown in picture 5, securing it with 2 x EM screws.

Issue 33

The Right Calf

Picture 1 shows the contents of this issue.


Pull down the calf support rod as shown in picture 2. Now rotate the upper rod clamp, picture 3. Secure the rod support into the outside of the right calf (33A) using 2 x BM screws, picture 4.

Rotate the assembly 90 degrees so that the outside of the right calf connects to the inside of the calf assembly from issue 29, picture 5. Make sure the bottom part of the calf fits inside the foot before securing the assembly, picture 6. Secure using 2 x EM screws, picture 7.

Now place the ankle plate (33B) on the inside of the calf fitting the two posts so they snap into place, picture 8.

Picture 9 shows the complete assembly for this issue.

Issue 34

The Right Lower Leg

Picture 1 shows the contents of this issue.


Place the right shin guard (34B) onto the right leg assembly and secure in place with 3 x AM screws, picture 2. Attach the right knee (34A) as shown in pictures 3 and 4.

Finally, fit the cap (34C) that covers the screw in the shin guard. It will only fit in one position. Make sure the horizontal slots are aligned, picture 5.
