Assembling the Wheel Parts
Turn the outer wheel (45A) over so that the inside is facing you, then slot the centre wheel (45B) over the five screw posts, picture 2.
That completes the assembly for this issue.

Fitting the Tyre
To fit the tyre, simple slot it over the wheel parts from issue 45, picture 2.

Issue 47

Assembling the Wheel
Take the wheel assembly from the previous two issues and push the inner wheel into the centre (47C) lining up the five tabs with the screw holes, picture 2. Secure in place using 5 x CP screws, picture 3.
Take one of the backing plates (39C) from issue 39 and secure it to the two posts on the rear of the outer wheel using 2 x AM screws, picture 4.
Now place the wheel assembly to the left side of the rear axle, picture 5 and secure it in place using the gasket (47D) and an FM screw.
Push fit the centre cap base (47B) into the centre of the wheel, picture 6, followed by the batman cap (47A) into the hole on the centre cap, picture 7.
That completes the assembly for this issue.
Next time we start to build up the engine, fitting the radiator, air filter and hoses. As I did with the engine, these have been repainted from the original colour. See you soon.

Building the Radiator
As stated in the previous issue, I will be painting the engine parts to match what I have already done. The parts already come pre-painted, and this is purely my own decision to repaint them. If you decide to follow my option, you do this at your own discretion and your own risk should any parts be damaged in the process.
First, I painted all the parts with a primer and then a black paint. The top and bottom tank parts of the radiator were given a gloss varnish. A small amount of metal rub was applied to the grills, for those who want to know how it was painted. Picture 2 shows the painted parts.
Take the top (48B) and bottom (48C) tanks and place them onto the posts in the back of the front radiator (48A), picture 3.
Note: You will need to place the two protruding brackets on the front of the top tank and slot them into the two slots of the front of the radiator before pushing it into place, so the lugs go into the posts.
Place the radiator back in place and secure it with 4 x AP screws, picture 4.

Issue 49 Part 1
Picture 1 shows the parts for this issue.
Completing the Radiator
Picture 2 show the parts repainted. Take the radiator assembly from the last issue and attach the radiator support (49A) with 4 x AP screws as shown in pictures 3, 4 and 5.
Fit the overflow hose (49D) onto the filler bottom (49C), picture 6. Place the radiator cap (49B) over the filler bottom.
Note: Make sure you place the cap on the right side of the filler bottom. If the hose faces the opposite way when applying it to the radiator, take off the cap and attach it to the other side of the filler bottom. I did exactly that and wondered why mine faced the wrong way.
Place the filler assembly onto the radiator and pipe along the top and down the side, picture 7.
That completes part 1 of the assembly for this issue.

Issue 49 Part 2
Mounting the Radiator
Begin by inserting the lower hose (49H) into the water pump as shown in picture 8.
Secure the radiator support to the front crossmember using 2 x AM screws, picture 9. Now connect the other end of the lower hose to the radiator, picture 10.
Place the water bypass upper tube (49G) into the pin on the water outlet (49F) and then place the assembly onto the intake manifold by push fitting the part in place, picture 11. Insert one end of the upper radiator hose (49E) into the top of the radiator and the other end in the water outlet, picture 12.
Next, feed the fuel pump hose down the front of the engine block as shown in picture 13 and connect the end of the hose to the vacuum line outlet, picture 14.
That completes part 2 of the assembly for this issue.

Issue 50 Part 1
Picture 1 shows the parts for this issue.
Picture 2 shows the air filter parts repainted.
Assembling the Air Filter
Secure the air filter pipe (50E) to the air filter (50B) using an AP screw, picture 3. Using two AP screws, fix the air filter pipe (50D) as shown in pictures 4 and 5. Press fit the other half of the air filter pipe as shown in picture 6.

Issue 50 Part 2
Fitting the Air Filter
Take the assembly from part 1 of issue 50 and secure it to the top of the engine using 2 x AP screws, picture 7.
Insert the bolt (50C) into the air filter lid and then push fit the lid onto the air filter. This will only fit one way, picture 8.
Pictures 9, 10, 11 and 12 show the engine parts assembled.
