STAGE 51:

These parts are for assembling the more parts of the centre console.

Retrieve the console, part 50A from the previous stage.

Press the gear lever into the rubber boot, parts 51A and 51B.
They will only fit one way.

Press the handbrake lever into the rubber boot, parts 51C and 51D.
They will only fit one way.

Press the hand brake assembly into the main console, part 50A.
The lever should be pointing toward the silver area on the console.

Store the parts safely for now.

STAGE 52:

In this stage you will fit the battery box.

Retrieve the main wiring PCB, part 44F and unplug the battery box wire, part 48A.

Retrieve the car interior assembly and pass the battery box wire through the rectangular hole on the passenger side.

Fit the battery box in place and turn the assembly over.
Fix the battery box to the floor using 4 x AP screws.

Store the unused dashboard and the interior safely for now.

STAGE 53:

In this stage you will begin assembling the dashboard.

Fit the display panel into the blue housing, parts 53B and 53C.
The parts will only fit one way.
Fit the assembly into the top centre of the dashboard, part 52A.
Fix from behind using 2 x AP screws.

Fit the Nitrous Oxide gauge panel, part 53D into the left side of the dashboard.
It will only fit one way.
Fix from behind using 1 x AP screw.

Fit the 3 x gauges, parts 53E, 53F and 53G into the panel making sure you put them in the correct order.
Take care to get them straight as they are a tight push fit.

Fit the clear dashboard display panel into place on the rear of the dashboard.
It will only fit one way.

Retrieve the main wiring PCB, part 44F.
Unplug the two smaller PCB units, parts 46E and 46I.

Fit the longer panel, part 46E behind the main dashboard and fix using 2 x AP screws.

Fit the other panel, part 46I behind the three NOS gauges and fix using 2 x AP screws.

Store the parts safely for now.

STAGE 54:

In this stage you will fit the main power switch.

Retrieve the main PCB, part 44F and unplug the switch wire, part 48B.

Retrieve the main interior floor assembly and turn it upside down.

Fit the switch, part 48B into the locating hole close to the edge of the floor and fix with 2 x OP screws.

Store the assembly and the unused dashboard part safely for now.

STAGE 55:

In this stage you will assemble more of the dashboard.

Locate the two glove box parts, 55A and 55B.
Press the two parts together. They will only fit one way.

Retrieve the lower dashboard, part 54A from the previous stage.

Fit the glove box into the open location at one end of the dashboard. It will only fit one way.

Fit the retaining bracket, part 55C in place over the glove box hinge pins and fix using 2 x AP screws.

Fit the ashtray lid, part 55E into the opening in the centre of the dashboard.

Fit the ashtray box over the lid. It will only fit one way.
Fix in place with 2 x AP screws.

Store the assembly safely for now.

STAGE 56:

In this stage you will assemble more of the dashboard.

Fit the two multimedia centre parts 56A and 56B together. They will only fit one way.
Fix them using 2 x KP screws.

Fit the multimedia screen, part 56C into the assembly making sure the screen faces out and the widest part of the screen surround is at the bottom.

Fit the screen back, part 56D in place behind the screen and fix using 2 x KP screws.

Retrieve the main dashboard assembly, part 52A and fit the multimedia unit into the opening at one end. It will only fit one way.

Fit the retaining bracket, part 56E in place over the hinge pins and secure with 2 x AP screws.

Retrieve the lower dashboard, part 54A and fit it to the main dashboard assembly, locating the 3 x fixing tabs over the 3 x fixing holes in the main assembly.
The parts will only fit together one way.
Secure using 3 x AP screws.

Store the assembly safely for now
