Hi All, BigGrin

Pack 15 of the ISS has arrived, so here`s the first update with Issue 75.

Parts supplied.....Pic 1, you will also need the main model on the base and the solar panel from Issue 74, plus the base assembly also from Issue 74.

Start with the solar array from issue 74 and add the panel 26M, fixing it in place with 2 x MS4 screws, shown in Pics 2 and 3.

Now add the 3 x BASE 11 parts supplied to the base from issue 74, as shown in Pic 4. Turn the parts over and fix them with 4 x BIG AS8 screws, indicated in Pic 5.

Ok, Option 1: start up your zero gravity workshop.....Confused, no I don`t have one either. Option 2: Find someone you trust to hold your model and the base upside down while you work on it. Wifey`s comment not printable here. So, against the instructions, Option 3: Remove the ISS from its base and put it somewhere safe for now.

Pic 6 shows the orientation of the two base sections (mounting posts included). Fit the two sections together as shown in Pic 7. Remove the mounting posts and fix the BASE 11 parts with a further 5 x BIG AS8 screws (arrowed in Red) and fit 8 x NUTS and BOLTS along the joint line marked in Yellow. See Pic 8.

Your base should now be as shown in Pic 9, so you can remount your model with the posts. Pic 10. See you soon for the next update.

Hi All, BigGrin

Update time for the ISS with issue 77.

Parts supplied.....Pic 1, you will also need the solar panel assembly from the previous update.

Start with the assembly from issue 76 and add the solar panel 3F, as in Pic 2. Then add the cover 3D and fix it in position with 2 x MS4 screws shown in Pic 3.

Now add the centre spar 3C (remembering that this part is not fixed until the next issue), Pic 4.

Hi All, BigGrin

This is the update for Issue 78 of the ISS.

Parts supplied.....Pic 1, you will also need the assembly from Issue 77.

Start by joining the centre spar 3B, to the outer end cross piece 3G with an MS4 screw, Pic 2.

Add these parts to the end assembly from issue 77, carefully engaging the solar panels onto the locating points as shown in Pic 3.

Now fit the end covers 3i and 3H, fixing each with 2 x MS4 screws, Pic 4.

Finally, turn an MB7 screw carefully into the end spindle to tension the solar panels. Indicated in Pic 5.

Pic 6 shows the final assembly for this issue.

Hi All, BigGrin

It`s update time for the ISS, with issue 79.

Parts supplied.....Pic 1, you will also need the main model/base, the large solar panel (Issue 75) and the solar panel from the previous update.

No need to move the main model/base about to much, just press fit the side trim BASE 12 as in Pic 2.

Now we work on the solar panel from the last update, by adding the spindle attachment part 26N as in Pic 3. Then add the upper part 26O, fixing it in place with 3 x MS4 screws, shown in Pic 4.

Next, place the larger solar array (Issue 75) on the table and add the spacer 26Y, area indicated in Pic 5, with a close-up in Pic 6.

Finally, add the double solar panel from earlier over the spacer as in Pic 7. That`s all for this update, Pic 8. So store the solar array very carefully, remembering that the last panel is not yet secured.
