Air intake fitting adjustment:

When fitting the side air ducts up against the chrome cooler part on each side of the car, you may encounter a gap, or unevenness with alignment of the parts.
The black air duct should sit level with the edge of the chrome cooler so the actual radiator vents inside cannot be seen.

It is a bit of a fiddle but if the chrome cooler and the duct parts are fitted loosely with the screws not tightened, you can wiggle the parts neatly into place. It does take a little bit of effort so be careful not to break anything.
When the parts are lined up, tighten the screws underneath while still holding the parts in place.

It is possible that if the parts are not properly aligned, it may affect fitting of the body panels later on. If nothing else, aligned parts look neater anyway.

Please bear in mind this alteration/adjustment is entirely at the builder’s discretion.
