HELP

I am about to start attatching the gun port lids but I am not sure which thread to use

That shown in the build instructions for issue 82 seems to be somewhat thicker than that which was supplied with issue 82

Any help much appreciated as usual

i gave up on the supplied thread gil and used some i had lying around. so can't help with the actual size, i have found that some of the thread supplied with earlier issues was variable in type, colour and thickness.

I have found the same variation in colour. Well it looks like a visit to hobbycraft if I cant find a suitable thread in my wifes sewing basket.I think I will look for a thicker and courser thread than that provided

(The basket has provided several useful tools. A Bodkin is ideal for applying spots of superglue and I found some snips which are ideal for cutting thread when making the blocks as the blades are sharp and short)
