Hi Guys, Take a look at these photo's, its real fascinating stuff. One of pictures show's the two holes made by the torpedo's that struck HMS Royal Oak, and you can see a Royal Navy Survey diver outside the torpedo hole taken by a colleague that was inside the ship itself. When you see the size of the hole its no wonder she sank so quickly and took so many lives with her. Its grim stuff, makes the hairs stand up on the back of your neck. The most poignant picture for me was that every year Royal Navy divers raise the white ensign on the wreck itself to honour the men who died in her. It shows everything that is the best of our fighting men and women. This page is part of a site dedicated to the memory of HMS Royal Oak! Hope you like it! http://www.hmsroyaloak.co.uk/underwater.htm
