Stage 38 - Contains ply hangar plates x7, metal hanger sections x2, and 4x 25mm guns.

Check the casting for burrs and fill the circular indents inside the shaped casting.

Assemble the hangar as shown, then mark the corner panel as shown, with a 2mm line on one side and a 3mm line on the other side at the opposite end, then sand the areas to the lines to create two angled areas as shown.

Add the panel to the hangar and then add the remaining hangar plate. Test fir the hangar casting to ensure that the angle of the hangar meets with the angle of the casting - do not glue the casting inn place.

The steps say to prime the hangar, I have opted to leave this until a later point when other sections have been constructed.

Assemble the for guns, then prime and paint the guns and both hangar castings kure grey (or the shade of grey that you have painted the previous platforms etc). Then detail the portholes of large hangar casting with black paint

Glue the guns onto the platform (from parts 37) in the locations shown.

Assemble the central elevator as per the bow elevator.

Take the quadrant section and glue it to the top of the hangar wall as shown in the inset image (ensure that you have the hangar wall correctly oriented), then sand the ends flush.

Glue the quadrant support bars in place along the hangar wall at marked line points.

The steps say to prime the elevator and hangar wall though I chose not to until the further build can be determined.

Locate frames 17 and 18 within the hull, and glue in place the two hull support plates inside of the existing support plates.

Remove any burrs from the machine gun castings, assemble each then prime and paint them grey. Glue the guns at the indicated points along the platform worked on last time.
