For Trafalgar, Victory carried two extra 12-pounders on the forecastle (placed at 108), these have been placed there in place of the barrels, but the barrels a will be stacked on the quarterdeck in issue 117.

I was wondering about the barrels a couple of weeks ago, I made both barrel stacks with different barrels (from the ones issued) when the first pair appeared then put them to one side. When all the rigging started to go on I thought that fitting them would be awkward so using pictures from the magazine I fitted them. When I seen the 'spare' cannon being fitted in Tommick's build, I double checked with the 'mag' and saw that they (the barrels) were in the same place where the cannon were fitted??
So because I 'jumped the gun', (and De-Ag changed their mind) I now have barrels in the wrong place!! anyway, they look fine to me, so they are staying put, and the cannon?? I'll fit them in somwhere.

Talk about timing, if I'd waited a couple of weeks, I would have seen Tomick's diary, and his 'post' in here today
